Guest declassified Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Hello everyone!I'm trying to convert a bunch of (Japanese) MP3 files to MP4/AAC using Nero's command line NeroAacEnc.exe. Unfortunately, it is unable to open file names containing characters like "ѓЌѓ{’€ЃAЌщЏА€К‹" and it simply ignores them.Is there a program/script that can batch-remove those characters from the file names?Thank you!Martin
Kurt_Aust Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 What about just using copy /n or xcopy /n to convert the filenames to 8.3 format?
Guest declassified Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 What about just using copy /n or xcopy /n to convert the filenames to 8.3 format?thank you for the advice! but the files are kind of scattered around, and i would like something to run on my entire hdd, that only touches the files containing those invalid characters...
