Hello all,

I'm currently experiencing burning errors with Nero. It goes well, but when it reaches 100% it always gives me an error message saying that burning failed. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it and even upgraded from Nero 6 to Nero 8 but the same problem persists. Here is the log I saved:

So your using the LG GGC-H20L with TDK DVD-RW media (TDK601saku)?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16827136133

http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?dvdmedia...arch=TDK601saku

Is this a new disc or a used disc?

How fast are you burning the disc? 4X? Try lowering it.

Inspect the "bottom" of the disc to look for anomalies in the dye.

I am not sure if using XP 64bit would cause a problem with Nero, but I suggest you also try ImgBurn.

Here is a review showing positive results with that drive and DVD-RW media:

http://www.cdfreaks.com/reviews/LG-GGC-H20...erformance.html

There is a firmware update available for your drive that is supposed to improve "writing quality" (compatibility):

http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp

The problem seems to happen when writing the lead-out:

Don't worry, I solved the problem. It happens to be Anydvd that was causing the problem.

I burn most of my dual layer CDs using 4x speed, anything higher than that will cause problems. The discs I'm using are all brand new.
