HaXor^
Hi, I want to automate the task of creating and configuring a broadband internet connection in Win XP where I have to type a username and password. Usually I have to use start -> programs -> accessories -> communications ->new connection wizard but I was wondering if this could be done unattended... Nepali
yes this be done easylyfirst of all u need to create the connection on your PCthen you need to copy %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\pbkand has to put this file in the same directory on ur unattended CDor manage it to go to the same directory during installation procedurenote:i have packed it with winrar and made it a self extractor exe, placed inside $OEM$\$$\system32\network.exe which extract it to %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\pbkduring t-13 hope you got the idea

HaXor^
Nepali, I've tried what you suggested. The link on my desktop doesn't do nothing when I click on it.If I go to "Network Connections" and I click on the connection, it doesn't load the my username andpassword that were set when I copied $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\pbk .Do I need a .ins file for this?
