Win XP on 2GB Flash Drive

Ι want to install win xp sp2 or sp3 on a flash 2GB. The broblem is that I have not understand the procedure.

If I am not wrong, I should install xp on another machine, install nlite, and build a cd with minimum options, and then install it on the othr machine with the flash.

Also in the first step nlite asks where is the "windows instalation". Where could I find it?

it means "Windows Installation set of files". It means the CD you use to install XP. Either you point to the cd, then nLite asks you for a directory on your HD where it can copy the files to modify them, either you copy the files manually first then points nLite to the directory on HD.

Note that if you intend to use your XP on flash drive more than once or twice, it is said that the high level of read/write operations that an OS requires could kill your drive quite early.
