vLite crashing

Hey guys.

I am trying to configure vista before i install it. I am on XP now. When i select the Vista Files, it asks me to pick a version of Vista. However, when i click the version (Ultimate), it waits a couple seconds and then my computer just turns off and restarts. I tested it out, and it crashes every time i click the version of Vista.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Which version of vlite ?

please disable the automatic reboot after the crash and post the infos from the BSOD.

Are you using an antivirus tool? If yes disable it or uninstall it if disabling doesn't help.

If you don't know how to do it just enter this command in cmd

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\currentcontrolset\control\CrashControl" /v AutoReboot /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
