Repair install to get back removed components?

Hi all,

The reason I ask this is that I inadvertently removed the Jet Database Engine, and it seems that it's required for my favorite MP3 renaming program. I don't want to get rid of all the work I've done in the past few days setting everything up, so I came up with this:

Recreate nlite CD image with lastsession.ini loaded except with Jet Database unchecked. Then I would boot from CD and do a repair install so that all my programs would remain but hopefully Jet Database Engine would be installed, with everything else as it was.

Would this work in your opinion?
