June 23, 200818 yr Somebody can tell me why NFS MW not working on x64 systems???How to fix this if I wanna play NFS MW on Windows XP x64???ok fine try to install the DirectX 9.0c which was came along with the NFS MW CD, because some supporting files which is needed to run NFS will be extracted from Dx9.0c. but for me the game is working fine in windows XP x64!

July 28, 200818 yr Hmm. I had minor problems with MW as well, but it was just a problem ith video card... perhaps its the cd itself?
November 7, 200817 yr Yeah! But you know i was installed 32 bit XP and Most Wnated working just great! So problem is in Windows XP x64!

I also have the 64 bit version of XP. I had the same exact problem. You would try and install the game and get an error message telling you about directx. I found a solution to this problem and the game is installing as I type this. http://www.jason-saggers.com/?page_id=37 Follow what is described here. I didn't burn the files to a disc, however. I simply mounted the iso file using a virtual drive and ran it that way. I had disc 2 inserted into the actual drive and when the virtual disc was done, it immediately went straight to reading from disc 2. The Directx I downloaded can be had here. http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/directxdownload.html (9.0c) I hope this helps some of you speed fiends out there.
