peterid Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 I'm running Windows XP MCE SP2, and I've created a hidden partition on my hard drive with ERD Commander 2005 on it. I've fiddled with my boot.ini for awhile, and I'm stumped. I have it as an option to boot to when I turn on my computer, but it just says there's a problem with the disk when I try to boot to it. I'm sure this is possible to do, though maybe not with boot.ini alone. It's just over my head. Anyone have any ideas?
JedMeister Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I have no idea but I strongly suspect that Windows boot.ini can't be used in this way. Not sure how you'd do it but I reckon you'd need something that loaded prior to boot.ini that could boot to ERD Commander. No idea really, just my 10c worth!
