Hello,

I'm a fan of the new Windows Vista Flip 3D Feature.

Bug:

- Flip 3D starts and proceeds very well, smoothly, accurately, very nicely and everything. :realmad: However,

when I release the Win key (or press Enter), the flipping ends at the foremost window tile and I always get a 50/50 chance,

50 % chance that the foremost window lands all right without any visual bugs

and

50 % chance that the whole image of or a part of the window image from where I started flipping shortly OVERLAYS the foremost window. This produces a kind of visual flashing, which really spoils the aero flip 3d function.

I have the system + SP 1 + all the drivers PROPERLY installed. I get the bug even when my system is not overloaded and when just a few standard windows are open.

Did anyone have this or similar bug ?

:sneaky:

Again breifly : when releasing Win, the foremost window flashes with a fragment of another window, which is very bad.

:sneaky:

Suggestion:

- make an update to fix the bug

- make Flip 3D customizable : hotkey, layout

First, for the love of god, PLEASE stop using BOLD on your entire posts. It's not much better than all caps. No need for all the line returns and "padding" things with anywhere from 24 to 33 spaces like you did.

Nope. First time I see it mentioned anywhere even.

I'd suggest updating your video drivers to the latest WHQL version, or the latest beta, if the latest WHQL doesn't fix it.

- make an update to fix the bug

- make Flip 3D customizable : hotkey, layout

This isn't Microsoft PSS. There's NOTHING we could do about this, even if it's a bug with Flip 3D (and it's not), nor can we really customize it...
