System tweaks

Hay all,

I am just wonder how oyu can identify register compenents that effect program configuration or tweaks oyu have done? i am wanting to make a completely unatteneded install disk that will tweak the system to how i make it after manual install most stuff i can do just fine tuning like adding settings to a particular programs or in case of a rss feed program adding it feeds etc i am guessing it register it held in so wondered if anyone knew a way to moniter the register changes or find for a particular program.
