Blocking ads on WMP 11

Will doing something to the Internet explorer allow me to block all the adds i see while i play radio on WMP 11. I do not use IE 6.1 at all, i only use FF 3.0.

Is there any utility or trick or tip? Thanks for any help.

I have Windows XP SP3.
