Wireless Card not Finding Network on nLite'd XP

I installed an nLite'd XP Pro + SP3 on an old laptop. Everything works great except my Trendnet PCMCIA Wireless adapter does not work. When I try to find a wireless network I get the message "No wireless networks were found in range". I know the adapter is working because it worked fine on my friend's Vista laptop. I followed the guide here: http://wiki.eeeuser.com/howto:nlitexp almost exactly except I did not remove anything from the "Hardware Support" section. Could something I removed with nLite have caused this problem?
