Unable To Login

Hi,

I'm having problem logging on to vista. When I key in the password for my user account at the logon screen and pressed enter, it only shows me a black screen with a cursor. Thus, I tried pressing ctrl+alt+del, but it does not respond. I tried logging in to the build-in administrator account but the same thing happens.

I tried booting into safe mode but the result is still the same for the 2 accounts.

Does anyone here have the workaround for this problem?
