Which functions are needed for WLAN?

Hi everyone,

Which Windows components are needed for WLAN? If I select "Ethernet and Wifi" on the compatibilty form, the Windows Firewall is hidden although I don't need it for WLAN.

Does anybody know which components are really needed for WLAN (like DHCP) and without them WLAN not work?
