Cannot run nLite

Featured Replies

So I just reformatted (not the <Quick> option, the full one that takes like an hour) and installed Windows XP SP2 Pro. I installed .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 (x86) from the nLite website first, then installed nLite successfully. However, when I try to run nLite, it gives me a pop-up error that says:

nLite.exe - Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application.

And the only option to click is OK.

Why can I not run nLite?

Yea, I tried every single link and none of them helped after I tried the relevant suggestions

hmm when you reinstalled was it with an altered xp source? did you use nlite in the past?

i really dont have a clue about what the problem could be, i was just assuming it was the same problem people were having when i ran the search

When I installed Windows I used the CD I got from the store (the shiny orangish colored one) and I did not edit anything. I've used nLite before but on a different computer
