jimet Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 I'm using Nlite and have set up an install with SP3 slipstreamed. When I go to Microsoft to check for updates it will NOT install KB915865 (IE7 update) says it needs it, downloads, but won't install. I tried not adding IE7 to the install and installed after boot-up. This worked when I went to Microsoft update, KB915865 installed fine. Any ideas?? cluberti Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 That hotfix is included with SP3, so analyzeforbranching on it is going to fail (and it will fail to install). How are you integrating IE7? It's been known that integrating IE7 into an SP3 source ends up with IE7 files in \system32\, but IE6 files in \system32\dllcache (and some people have resorted to deleting the contents of the \dllcache\ folder post install to fix it...).
