Question about WMP10

I have an XP Pro SP2 CD and am wondering what the best way to integrate WMP is.

WMP10 Scenario

1) Does SP3 include updates to WMP10?

2) What would be the best way to use nlite to get SP3 and WMP10 slipstreamed on to my SP2 CD e.g. do I just have to put WMP10 installer in the hotfixes window or would I need to put any hotfixes for WMP10 in there as well. Essentially what I'm asking is does slipstreaming SP3 mean that WMP 10 will automatically be fully patched?

Any help would be much appreciated!

If your cd fails WGA then we cannot help you as that would be considered helping with warez you will have to cantact MS and see about getting a new key (If you were sold an illegal one) or you will have to by a new copy of XP.

I wasn't sold it, it was just the one that came with the pc I got a friend to build for me a few years back. Looking back at the forum rules it's clear my post was breaking them so I've edited my original post. I hope this is ok? Edited May 12, 2008 by Renoir
