Once i plugged my external monitor to my notebook and i get New Display Detected dialog box to allow me to choose beetween:- Mirrored- Extended- External display onlyI did choose 'Extended'Now every time i unplug and plug my external display is always Extended. Even if i reboot my pc it seems my configuration is saved because it's still 'Extended'How to get this windows again because i don't want only to use the Extended mode ? bmhome1 Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 Run Device Manager with display drivers listed, notice what are. Plug in external monitor and watch Device Manager refresh and display new driver added. Select properties and see if options are listed. If not, uninstall that driver added to list after refresh and plug in monitor and let new hardware discovery launch. If your video card has icon in Control Panel, check there before doing anything.
