nLite + SP3 = installation problems

Hello, MSFN. Thank you to the community for the answers I needed in the past (lurking). Thank you, Nuhi, for an outstanding program.

I have used nLite for a year or so, with only minor complications. I am now attempting to slipstream SP3. I have made the following discs with the same end result: nLite integrated SP3, WMP 11, IE7 with and without tweaks, and nLite integrated SP3 without IE7 and WMP11 and with or without tweaks.

When I attempt to install, I am first shown the message "boot record signature aa55 not found", but setup continues.

Then the initial setup phase takes place, in which my configuration is inspected, etc. I am then faced with the BSoD and the error 0x0000007B.

The setup procedure never makes it to partitioning. I understand that this error is usually a result of a MBR error, virus infection or hardware conflicts. The interesting thing is that my previous disc with SP2, updates, removed components and tweaks still works flawlessly.

I am reluctant to believe that I have a hardware problem because the SP2 disc still works. Any advice in creating a functional SP3 disc in this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
