odbod Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Alright, so here's the deal, I have a customized windows xp sp2 disc with updates on it. Now, I have the last session still and stuff just as a note. Now, I lost everything in a fatal crash, but a lot of my integrated tweaks and programs are still on my windows nlited disc. Now, is it possible to integrate SP3 onto nlited installation files without losing my unattended information and loss of information of what integrated programs I have, as well as tweaks? THe reason I ask is because of that fatal crash, I have nothing, and I lost all of my configurations I had for making the nlited installations.
rendrag Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 copy the contents of your XP disc to your machine and use the latest version of nlite to slipstream SP3
Kelsenellenelvian Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 You'll still lose EVERYTHING though SP3 will overwrite the svcpack.ini and the sysoc.ini thus killing all of the programs custom entries. You really can't slipstream on an nLite'd disk and expect it all to work. You will have to install sp3 post install or dig through your closet till you find your original XP CD...
jmbattle Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Can you not simply reload the LAST SESSION.ini and LAST SESSION_U.ini files that were created on the previously nLite'd CD?Cheers,Jamesx
