RBCC
What do I need to slipstream Windows XP Service Pack 3? Do I Need Service PaCK 2? jOHN
angrypenguin
Shouldn't need to. As far as I know Service Packs include all updates to date, so SP2 contained SP1 plus all the updates between SP1 & SP2. By this logic, SP3 includes SP1, SP2 and all the updates since. Hopefully someone will be along shortly to confirm this 100% for you!
spacesurfer
In order to slipstream, you can use any - no SP, SP1, or SP2. - This is based on personal experience. In order to install on an online XP, you need at least SP1. This is per white paper found here: Windows XP SP3 Overview
