computerdr74
For anyone having an issue with any diskpart scripts and multiple partitions, please keep in mind that diskpart does not perform the boot.ini update for you like it did when you used Windows PE 2005 and diskpart to deploy XP.In my case, I have a bootable PE partition as #1 and the OS as partition #2. I then hide partition 1 for use later if it is necessary to rebuild the OS. Typically, we would count on diskpart to set the entries in the boot.ini for us when we used winpe 2005. We now have realized that when we upgraded our process to WinPE 2.0 that the diskpart no longer does this for us. So, we have to either set the boot.ini in the image to partition #2 or we have to set it using bootmgr. For ease of use, we simply set it in the image.
