mikep56 Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 (edited) Hi All,I believe that this is a Windows XP Pro issue and not an nLite issue. I have used my nLited Windows XP Pro CD on multiple systems, but this is the first time that I have encountered this problem. I used this CD to set up a new PC, and once it was done I added several users. Now when it boots it boots directly into the default Administrator's desktop, not to the welcome screen where the added users need to log on. Some are limited accounts and some are administrator accounts. To let the other users on this PC log on, the default administrator needs to log off first, then the welcome screen comes up where all the users are listed. Now for the strange part. The way that I understand it, as long as there is at least one other administrator account, the default administrator account can be deleted by one of the other administrators. When one of the other administrators logs on, the default administrator is not shown in the welcome screen or in the User's section of the control panel, where users are added and deleted.Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.Regards,MikeEDIT:The answer is to run userpassword2 from the Start button - Run, and then select the checkbox about requiring all users to log on with a password. This always brought up the Welcome screen.Regards,Mike Edited March 25, 2008 by mikep56
