My question is how can I connect to the PC running IIS and view the index page from another computer on the LAN and also on the Internet?I don't have a domain, I'm just running from localhostI really appreciate anyones ideas on this
dubsdj Posted March 22, 2008 Author Posted March 22, 2008 hmm ok I have managed to do the LAN bit by typing:http://192.168.0.101:80I did have to open port 80 on my firewall but that was fine.So how would I then connect via the internet, does anyone know?

rendrag Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 guess you don't need us some ISP's will block incoming requests for port 80, so you might need to change the port that IIS is working on if you run into that problem
