severmefree Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Hey guys, I purchased Vista64 Ultimate on the windows marketplace and I'm having trouble getting it to install over XP x86. I have a AMD X2 64 4400+ processor and the motherboard is a 64bit board. I read online to create a bootable DVD and do a clean install but the file it says to start with isn't listed in any of the files. Can anyone help guide me through this to get this vers of Vista on my computer? I don't even care about whats on my drives. I wanna reformat them anyways.Justin.
nitroshift Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) There's no need to create a bootable disk since the original media IS bootable.EDIT:Welcome to THE forum! Edited March 21, 2008 by nitroshift
