chaoscreater
ok i've used Nlite before to integrate SATA drivers to the OS and it worked fine, it seems easy and everything but now i want to implement programs etc to it, and i need help.........for drivers, i know i just need to extract them and add the .inf files. But what i want to do is add programs that are installers, i.e setup.exe so, is it possible to do this? If so, can i do the same for drivers? It'll be much easier.......if this isn't possible, maybe this is a good idea for improvement in the future, if we could add programs/drivers easily that are in setup.exe files, things will be so much quicker and easier to handle..........and if this isn't possible, can someone tell me how? Do i need to use Windows Post Install with this? If so, i don't know how and i've read the guides there, the command lines stuff is confusing and hard to follow............and btw, i "HAVE" seen custom OS with extra programs installed so don't tell me it's not possible. Kelsenellenelvian
Ummmm did you even search first? In this section of the forum is a sub-section called application addons... those are apps and programs that can be added into the hotfix section of nLite. chaoscreater
yea i did and u should learn to read. I'm asking is it possible to integrate any program, the addon list doesn't contain the ones i want to combine with the OS, i'm asking is there a way to combine "ANY" program or drivers in .exe files or setup installer format. Kelsenellenelvian
Anythings theoretically possible it just depends on how much work you are willing to do...As for drivers "just .exe" there are some that can be repackaged but it is a very tedious proccess. Some things require ALOT of work and I do mean many hours and alot of testing on vmware. Kelsenellenelvian
In the hotfixes, addons and update packs section you simply select the file "RVMUpdatePack2.2.1.7z" and it will integrate it.
