rtrg
I am the type of person who searchs for usefull info before I buy or use anything. This also applies to the web. I looked at the WINAMP site and I am convinced that this program may be too complicated for me to use. Since there is no contact info on there site I am posting here. Can anyone provide me with a USER GIUDE for WINAMP5.52? I need detailed info as to how to use it in simple language. As a nvice computer I want thi guide to read BEFORE I download it so I can determine in advance if this will meet my needs. What I do like about it is that there is some content that I understand can be selected and sent to the player for display as opposed to going to the web for content only to discover that a special player or software needs to be downloaded first or worse yet that only PAID menbers can acess that content. What a rip off! I thought that the WEB was concidered public domain! PURE GREED! Is there any way web content can be downloaded to the hard drive? Most sites I have come across will let non-paid users to watch content but NOT download it! Back to the public domain issue. Any help on WINAMP will be welcome. rendrag
winamp has a free version. If you don't like it, or find it too difficult to use, then you may remove it from your computer
DigeratiPrime
Lemme see if I understand you: you are looking for help with downloading media content from websites such as videos, music, pictures and using a single media player for all of them? The first problem I usually get around by using the 'View Page Info' feature in Firefox and downloading the content from the Media tab. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portableSecondly I use Media Player Classic with FFDShow (both are free) for playing all my different music and video formats.http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=205650http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=173941
