Hello,

i have an 8GB SSD and heared that with vlite i can minimize Vista. Is it possible to shrink it for that SSD ?

My plan was 3-4GB for OS and the last 4Gb for Programs. Is that makeable ? Wich thinks i can cancel in vlite ?

Is vlite only for an Installation DVD or can that shrinkin an running Vista ?

Thanks for help !

Be sure to use 32bit Vista because it is a lot smaller and check your pagefile size after install to free up some space, but be careful with that.

Check the component sizes in vLite on the right and select all the big ones, then gradually select the smaller ones as well if you think you will not need them.

Make Virtual machine with 8GB of space and test your ISO.

Yoh thanks. At the moment I only have the x64 Vista SB, but after vlite and install on my 8GB SSD and resize pagefile i reach 4.5GB finally incl. drivers on the Drive :thumbup That nice and half of space needed before. So i dont need XP on my little SSD.
