garm
I successfully used nLite to install a smaller version of XP pro on an EEE PC. Most everything works well but now I want to install the Windows Home Server Connector software on the EEE to have my WHS automatically back it up. When I go to install the software, it only gets as far as the "Starting Services" portion (prior to having to enter my password) before the following error appears:Service "Windows Home Server Connector Service" (WHSConector) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.I am logged in as an administrator to my computer (at least under users it has me as a computer administrator).Any suggestions out there on what I must have removed to disallow me from installing this program? Thanks
Arie
Install the Windows Home Server Connector on a clean, non-nLited machine and check it's service dependencies.
