Hi,

I recently had to reinstall Windows XP Pro and Office 2003. I'd backed up my PST file and I restored my e-mail messages with no problems.

I've been unable, however, to restore my Tasks, e-mail addresses and Rules. Please could someone tell me how to do this?

Thanks,

Joe

Hi,

I've managed to restore my tasks, rules and e-mail addresses now, but I still can't get my address book back. When I try to open my address book, I get the following error:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook Help."

Please can someone tell me how to get my address book back?

Thanks,

Joe

If you're using a PST your email address listed in your "CONTACTS" folder are your Address book. To display them you will need to richt click the CONTACTS folder > Properties > Outlook Address Book > Display as an address book.

If you had your email addresses stored in a seperate address book, look for a file with the extension *WAB (Windows Address Book).
