bast98 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I had Microsoft Money 2003 on my Windoes XP computer. Recently I bought Money 2005 and installed it on my Windows Vista computer. When I tried to import the backup file from Money 2003 to Money 2005 an error message appeared saying “QDATA Backup.mbf cannot be imported. Please confirm that you have the correct file”. Why the file “QDATA Backup.mbf” cannot be imported since it’s a Money file? What can I do to import the file to Money 2005?
DigeratiPrime Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I remember seeing something similar on a relatives pc recently. I think there is another mbf file you are supposed to open that is in a folder with other files, the backup file is standalone and cannot be opened by itself. I might not wrong and not remember exactly though.
