Hi,

I am new from Japan.

I have a PC on which Windows XP Home SP2 (Japanese) is running. Its CPU is AMD Athlon 64 and DEP is enabled.

I once successfully ran nLite 1.0.1 on the PC, but when I tried to upgrade it to 1.4.1, the new nLite refuse to launch.

The following is what I tried:

1. I uninstalled nLite 1.0.1.

2. I downloaded nLite 1.4.1 installer and installed nLite 1.4.1.

3. I tried to launch nLite 1.4.1. It crashes.

4. I uninstalled .Net Framework 2.0.

5. I downloaded redistributable .Net Framework 2 SP2 runtime and installed it into the PC.

6. I uninstalled nLite and installed nLite 1.4.1 again.

7. Even after these procedure, I can not launch nLite 1.4.1. It crashes with error dialog.

The error signature is as follows:

EventType : clr20r3

P1 : nlite.exe

P2 : 1.4.1.0

P3 : 4760056a

P4 : mscorlib

P5 : 2.0.0.0

P6 : 461eee3d

P7 : 1a8b

P8 : 10

P9 : system.typeloadexception

I found some other Japanese guys who failed to launch nLite 1.4.1 with Windows XP (Japanese), on a BBS.

I tried to find similar cases on this forum, however could not find the exactly same cases.
