relvok
I use a windows 2000 Adv. server as a gateway for my 2 XP Proffesional Workstations. (ADSL connection)I would like to install XP Proffesional instead of the Adv server but I have a problem.I use routing and remote access on the W2K adv server to automatically route the internet connection to the other workstations. This is an automated service at boot so no login is needed on the adv. server to allow the other workststions internet services.XP proffessional allows you to install Routing and remote access on a XP proffessional client but only to control a remote routing and remote access server. How can I install a connectoid for the ADSL connection that will run as a service at boot on a XP Proffessional workstation without logging in?THXRelvok
MSNwar
http://modemsite.com/56k/connectoid.asp?sc=10%3A44%3A13+AMHope this helps. The key is in the properties of the DUN. Just remember to configure each work stations settings.MSNwar - The FatMan
relvok
Thanks for your reply but I need to install the connection as a service at startup, not after I login.Routing and Remote access allows you to do this but I cannot install R&R on a XP workstation.Anyone else?
