Hi Guys

I'm looking for a complete and updated list of x64 bit-native software.

I searched with google but all the list I've found were of 2006-2005.

Well, you can check start64.com for some apps. There are more and more being released all the time.

I use Firefox 64-bit, Virtualbox 64-bit, 64-bit PDF viewer, 64-bit IRC client (why?), 64-bit binary news downloader, 64-bit bittorrent client, etc.

I have Unreal Tournament 2004 64-bit, Farcry 64-bit, there's 64-bit Crysis....

Interesting. Are you seeing any benefits to using those x64 softwares on x64 OS? I have a handful of x64 apps and I just feel like they are not doing anything extra for me. Are you noticing better memory usage? Faster performance?

I don't sit there and run meticulous benchmarks comparing the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of every single application I download.

I have not tried the 32-bit versions of apps where the 64-bit version is mature and perfectly usable.

same here i use the 64 bit app if its available, but not noticed an increase in performance. I use X64 so i can use 8GB of ram for virtual PCs, otherwise 32bit would be fine i suppose :)
