I installed a MP3 player and used the cd that came with it. The player was bad and was never was able to load correctly ... now right after Vista loads a popup opens stating it's loading a driver for a mass storage device ... the driver loads but it shows up in my device manager with a yellow mark by it. How do I stop this driver fron loading. Thank you

Right click on it and choose disable. Reboot, if it comes up again right click on it and choose disable untill a better answer comes along.

what kind of MP3 player is it. you may have to load special drivers/software for it.

Was a Naxa (cheap) ... problem is I used the CD that can with it and used the uninstall fo the CD ... but it stills wants to load the driver for it. Thanks

the only drivers they list are for a NX-196

NX-196?? What the heck device is that their site doesn't even register that as one of their devices. (Beyond having drivers for it)

Problem is I can't find where the device is loading ... looked in all the regular places no luck ...

It never fully installed so Vista still sees it every boot. The only way would be to get it to install properly (Provide the drivers again from the disk and pray) and then unistall it.

Or disable and ignore it.
