slipstream xp locks when security center message comes up

I finally got my nlite slipstream copy of xp [sp2 was intergrated on oem xp] to load on intel dp35dp board with usb floppy and txt file patch from intel.now when security

center icon shows up after boot machine locks up,cpu@100% is there a fix?

can you get taskmgr to open at all? (Ctrl+Shift+Esc)

if you can, check the processes and sort by the CPU column to see what .exe is eating the CPU. might give you a better idea of whats happening.

i got task mgr open system is showing 50-90%

unless you have an exe on your machine named system.exe i think you are looking at the wrong column. the column that will tell you the name of the program is labeled "Image Name"
