jgurtz Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I've noticed a problem with getting .Net 1.1 installed on this platform and after doing quite a bit of searching I'm tending to think that something was taken away by accident via using nlite. The redistributable from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=enstates that 64-bit server 2003 is supported. But, when you run it, it says:This setup is not supported on 64-bit versions of Windows XPThe stand alone SP1 package for .NET 1.1 fromhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;DisplayLang=ensays this:The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer servicebecause the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patchmay update a different version of the program. Verify that the programto be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correctupgrade patch.I'm really at a dead end here. Anyone have some clue or better google-foo than me?
