HID-compliant device issue on WinXP SP2 - No USB mice

Featured Replies

USB mice do not work. They show up as unknown device under Human Interface Devices in Device Manager. WinXP SP2. I must have selected HID-compliant devices for removal via nLite. I have come so far; is there a way for me to restore this functionality without re-installing the whole OS and all my apps?

Thanks!

Update: I have reviewed my nLite config and I cannot figure out what may have caused this.

There is no way you can disable USB mouse with Nlite - without using Advanced dialog or USB polling rate tweak. Last Session .ini would be useful... Do other USB devices work, other mice ?
