robthehungrymonkey Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 A stupid question here...I'm about to install vista onto my PC, but I'm only really looking at running Media center, does Vlite work by installing the OS and then installing Vlite, and it then creates a bootable .img file? Are there any basic need to know points when removing bits and pieces? Is there anything in particular i should leave in? At the moment, i'm only thinking about leaving in IE7, windows media player and media center
nuhi Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 You can run vLite on XP SP2 and newer to configure Vista ISO which you then install after.Do what ever you expect from it, follow the warnings if it says that you are about to remove the needed component and answer Yes to keep it.After Applying make the ISO and test it in the Virtual PC if you are not keen on reinstalling a day after when you see what more you need or don't.
