How do I change startup and shutdown screens?

I created a customized install disk with nLite, and everything is working great. One option I selected was a detailed startup and shutdown, so it tells me what is happening during these processes. Is it possible to revert back to the classic way, i.e. just an ordinary Welcome and shutdown screen without any messages of what is happening?
