HappyJack
Hi thereMy issue is this:1) I have a retail copy of XP home2) I also have a copy of XP professional UPGRADE3) I have XP SP3 ready for slipstreaming.4) I use nLite for slipstreaming.I would like to be able to slipstream XP professional with SP3, but when I do, and go to install it, the installation routine asks for the XP home disc for verification. Is there a simple way to get around this so that I may do an unattended install?Sorry if this has been answered elsewhereThanks for your help in this regard.Jack
eolew
Which key do you enter in? the home or pro upgrade? maybe you need to enter the home upgrade key instead?
HappyJack
I put in the XP pro key as this is the one I'm installing. But I have to put the other disc (XP home) in momentarily so it can authenticate that I am upgrading "legally" as I have an upgrade copy of XP pro. Problem is this is a pain and prevents me from doing an unattended install. Any ideas?I found this web site which is kind of on the same track, but not quite:http://www.heise.de/ct/english/05/12/148/</a>Please can someone help??RegardsJack Edited January 5, 2008 by HappyJack
