A few things...I am new to this.

Can i rip from my oem restore cd's, to use the files to create a vlite iso?

can i just use an iso image to edit/tweak out in vlite? i hit browse and went to an iso but it wouldnt open/use it for me to start the whole tweaking process.

i then went and extracted everything from the iso, into a folder and hit browse to find the files needed to start tweaking but it gave me the same error before about needing the files from the folder it needs to start etc.

what am i doing wrong? what folder does it have to point to? cant it just open an iso?

You cant use OEM restore CD because it does not contain full Vista(correct me if im wrong).

All Vista setup files have to be extracted into a folder before you can select them with vLite.

Its a lot easier to download a proper version from internet(you use Home Premium x86 right?).And then activate it with your vista key and/or modify with vLite
