Help fixing Date issues

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have made changes & tested in vmware, everything worked great so decided time to burn to CD & test. Had a few issues I have already fixed but I have a Time & Date error I can't figure out. During the first boot windows gives the error time & date are wrong & need to be fixed. So I went to change it. The time, month, & day is all correct. The problem is the year shows as 1608. I used nlite to do all edits. Except for a few items in $OEM% folder. Please help me with this.

BIOS is the timekeeper, did you change your motherboards battery ? - it's the thing what helps keep time, when PC is powered off.

First confirm, that year 1608 is not set in your BIOS.

Here it is. The only thing not listed in it is my xp key. removed that so it doesn't get used by anyone else.

Not BIOS related, only happened with my custom nlite cd. So has to be something in the settings there.
