smilodon Posted December 30, 2007 Share Posted December 30, 2007 Dont... im not a professional here, but as much as i have tryed removing microsoft compononets from windows - its always ended with catastrophy. Once i killed IE6 (no 7 back then). The result was that some administration screens didnt show up, because they used HTML and IE6 to display. Then i once removed some explorer related components with nLite - explorer became unstable and there were graphical "clitches".The problem is that Windows stuff are integrated in various weird ways you might not imagine.Just use the "hide icons" method.
