Icttrack Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 i bought a blank cd few days ago. the label says its capacity is 870 mb. But my windows only recognizes 703 mb. it is the same as some 700mb-cds i had bought before. the only difference is their cost. 870 mb is more expensive than 700 mb. i bought this one in order to integrate more applications into my unattended cd. Could you tell me if it is some kind of problem of detecting or anything else?Besides this, i also want to overburn my cd, but really want to know which percentage the overburning should exceed over the cd 's capacity to avoid most problem? Thanks in advance.
dirtwarrior Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Nero has something to check cd's I rarely use it but it shows the limitations of the cd. If it is a quality brand cd I am sure you can safely go to the limit.
