mjr4077au Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Hi, I made a CD using nLite and there is only one thing that annoys me - it goes straight to the Partitioning page and doesn't ask me for the Recovery Console or not. Here is my script:; Generated by nLite 1.4.1[Data]AutomaticUpdates="Yes"Autopartition=0MsDosInitiated=0UnattendedInstall="Yes"[Unattended]UnattendMode=DefaultHideUnattendSwitch="No"OemPreinstall="No"EulaComplete="1"FileSystem=*WaitForReboot="No"NoWaitAfterTextMode=1NoWaitAfterGUIMode=1DriverSigningPolicy=IgnoreNonDriverSigningPolicy=IgnoreHibernation="No"TargetPath=\WINDOWS[SetupData]OSLoadOptionsVar="/noexecute=optin"[Display]BitsPerPel=32Xresolution=1024YResolution=768Vrefresh=75[TapiLocation]CountryCode=61Dialing=ToneAreaCode=02[GuiUnattended]AdminPassword="q1w2e3r4t5y6"EncryptedAdminPassword=NOOEMSkipRegional=1TimeZone=255OemSkipWelcome=1[Shell]CustomDefaultThemeFile="%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Royale.Theme"[Components][RegionalSettings]LanguageGroup=13,17,3,2,5,16,4,12,15,7,8,10,11,9,6,14,1SystemLocale="00000c09"UserLocale="00000c09"UserLocale_DefaultUser="00000c099"InputLocale="00000c09:00000409"InputLocale_DefaultUser="00000c09:00000409"[Networking]InstallDefaultComponents="No"[NetClients]MS_MSClient=params.MS_MSClient[NetServices]MS_SERVER=params.MS_SERVER[NetProtocols]MS_TCPIP=params.MS_TCPIP[params.MS_TCPIP]MS_NetMon=params.MS_NetMon[WindowsFirewall]Profiles=WindowsFirewall.TurnOffFirewall[WindowsFirewall.TurnOffFirewall]Mode=0[Identification]JoinWorkgroup="LAN_0001"A friend of mine has this 9-in-1 which was obtained through "not-so-legal-methods". It gives you the choice for a Console or to Install Windows, but doesn't hit you up for the EULA. Here is the script:[data]msdosinitiated="1"floppyless="1"LocalSourceOnCD="1"AutoPartition="0"UseSignatures="yes"InstallDir="\WINDOWS"EulaComplete="1"winntupgrade="no"win9xupgrade="no"Win32Ver="a280105"uniqueid="C:\WINDOWS\PEM"OriSrc="D:\ROOT\XPPC\"OriTyp="5"[regionalsettings]Language=00000409LanguageGroup=1If anyone can help me, It'd be very appreciated. These scripts are as-is but I have removed the Product Keys. Thanks in Advance, Mitch.
nuhi Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 http://www.nliteos.com/faq.html#Q19Also there are some drawbacks, it won't be so unattended any more. Not my mistake, simply you shouldn't be able to have unattended and prompt for repair, as far as I know, but this hybrid mode works fine.
mjr4077au Posted December 23, 2007 Author Posted December 23, 2007 I understand exactly what you're saying, having both options does contradict itself. In an ideal world, you'd be able to pick every page. My apologies for not doing my research as I should have read the FAQ and obviously read the options I was selecting in nLite. Thanks for your swift reply and many, many thanks for nLite.
