hdd write caching is disabled after install sata ?

after installing Intel sata drivers, my toshiba hdd MK8037GSX write caching is disabled !!

it was enabled before that ?

chip: Mobile Intel 965 express

OK, i'd contacted Intel support and give me that reply:

This is expected behavior. The new Intel® Matrix Storage Manager takes over this setting in order allow maximum performance to be delivered. There are no negative effects whatsoever.
