Display a Picture on a Monitor/Panel from a server

Featured Replies

HI,

I am looking for some help on how to display a image from database/Server to a monitors in diferent rooms.(I guess you got my point).

My questions are:

What can I use as a monitor? ThinClient/Usb Monitor/TV. If yes how we can connect. We need wireless.

How can we talk to the display panels from Server?

----------

All I need is to display a picture of people entering a room on the display screen from the database.

Any suggestions?

No, to be honest I haven't got a clue what you're on about

There are 2 ways i have heard of doing this.

1 is to do it as a website and have either a thin client, UMPC, etc attached to a monitor. the webpage can be made to refresh periodically to reflect changing pictures.

2 is to use a screen saver (though i know of no custom screen saver application tht can connect to a db)

Regards
