Keyboard not working in XP Setup

I am trying use nLite to make a XP SP2 disc so I can downgrade from Vista on a Compaq C700 notebook. I've burned the ISO to cd, but when the XP cd boots into setup, the keyboard doesn't seem to work at all. I didn't remove any keyboards during the configuration of the ISO, so I'm a little confused. Are there special keyboard drivers for Vista that need to be slipstreamed into the install CD?
