gkar Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I was using nLite 1.01 for quite a while but when I stepped up to any of the newer versions the installation stops and prompts me to name my computer even though the info is already there. It doesn't happen on nLite 1.01 so I experimented and entered all the info (user key, passwords, username, etc...) using 1.01, then imported the nLited files into 1.4 and it works fine as long as I skip over the tab for user key, passwords, username, etc... and continue the process with 1.4, updates, service packs etc...It's not a major problem it just adds a step.Probably one for Nuhi
nuhi Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Which computer name is that? You can change the name but keep it in the same format, if it has some char or space other than usual. Also did you fill out the Full Name in the Network or Owner tab, whatever it is called now, it would prompt you to fill it if empty. And if you don't fill Admin Password then choose Blank Password otherwise depending on the Unattended Mode it will prompt you to fill it.I think main reason here is the Unattended Mode, choose Fully Automated if you don't want any stops. It's probably one of those intentional reasons, let me know.

nuhi Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 If you choose Fully Automated and leave Computer Name blank nLite will enter * which is random computer name. If not let me know.
